My Classroom
Our Preschool & Toddler Room is a warm, nurturing environment where children learn through play, hands-on exploration, and loving guidance. We support each child’s growth socially, emotionally, spiritually, and academically by building strong routines, practicing kindness, and encouraging independence.
Children experience a balance of structured learning (circle time, small group activities, guided centers) and child-led play (dramatic play, blocks, sensory, art, and outdoor movement). We focus on age-appropriate early skills such as language development, early literacy, number sense, fine and gross motor development, and positive classroom behaviors—while also sharing God’s love through Bible stories, prayer, and character-building lessons and by example.
Our goal is for every child to feel safe, known, and celebrated—growing in confidence, curiosity, and compassion as they prepare for the next stage of learning.

Spiritual & Character Development (Faith-Based)
Learns that God loves them and that we show love through kindness
Hears Bible stories and practices simple prayer

Gross Motor
Climbs, runs, jumps, balances, and practices coordination safely
Participates in music and movement, stretching, games, and outdoor play
Practices body awareness and safe movement in a group setting
Early Literacy (Pre-Reading Skills)
Recognizes and practices letters (especially in their name)
Enjoys books and learns book-handling skills (front/back, turning pages)
Develops phonological awareness through rhymes, songs, and letter sounds
Scribbles with purpose → begins to draw shapes/lines → may start writing letters
Early Math (Number Sense)
Counts aloud (rote counting) and practices 1–1 counting with objects
Recognizes numbers (starting with 1–5, then growing)
Sorts by color/shape/size; patterns (AB patterns)
Understands simple concepts: more/less, same/different, big/small
